It is a straightforward drive down 115, and we are through these villages constantly — no surcharge for the distance, no different service. The advantage is that we cut and polish the stone ourselves rather than ordering it from someone else's shop, so scheduling stays under our control and we are not stuck in another fabricator's queue. What drives the price on a Millbrook countertop?

A heritage house on or near King Street usually has a smaller, awkward run — more cutting, more scribing to out-of-square walls, sometimes a separate pantry or butler's counter.
