Quartz Countertops in Lindsay
Two Lindsays turn up in our bookings. One is the old town — yellow-brick Victorians on the tree-lined streets off Kent, and the smaller working-class houses on the east side of the Scugog River. The other is the new build boom off Angeline Street North and out toward Colborne, where the Jennings Creek subdivisions keep going up. Both get the same slab, cut and polished in our own Pickering shop.
Lindsay is the seat of Kawartha Lakes, so we are often here anyway — a job in town, then Omemee or Little Britain the same week. The consultant brings real samples to your house, laser-measures, and quotes the exact installed price before leaving. Evening and weekend appointments are normal for us. We are open seven days, nine to nine.

Lindsay countertop questions, answered
We just bought in one of the new Angeline Street subdivisions — can you replace builder-grade counters?
That is a big share of our Lindsay work. Builder laminate or entry-level tops come out, quartz goes in, and because the cabinets are new and square the template is straightforward. We handle removal and disposal of the old surface. The kitchens in those Jennings Creek phases tend to have a long island, so we will talk through seam placement and overhang support on the visit. Free in-home consultation, exact installed price the same day.
Our house is a century home near Kent Street — will quartz work in it?
It works well, and it is a common request here. Older Lindsay houses often have shallow original cabinet runs, thick painted trim and floors that have settled, so we template rather than measure off a drawing. Quiet, softly veined colours sit better against original woodwork than high-contrast marble looks, and we bring both so you can hold them up in the room. Access matters too — we check the stair and hallway width before install day.
Do we have to drive to a showroom in Oshawa or Toronto to pick a colour?
No. That drive is the main reason people put the job off for a year. We bring the samples to Lindsay instead — over 800 colours across HanStone, Caesarstone, Silestone, Dekton, MSI, Viatera, Vicostone, Lucent and KSTONE, narrowed to what fits your cabinets and light before we leave Pickering. You see the stone in your own kitchen, on your own floor, and decide there. Submit the form or call 289-939-1193 and we set a time, including evenings.
What makes one Lindsay kitchen cost more than another?
Square footage of stone is only the start. A compact galley in an older east-side house near the river uses far less material than a new subdivision kitchen with a two-metre island and a separate bar run. Cutouts for sinks and cooktops, edge profile, waterfall panels, a matching backsplash, and whether the existing tops need removing all shift the total. The brand and colour you choose matters as well. The consultant measures and gives you the exact installed price at the free visit.
