Quartz Countertops in Meadowvale
Built as a planned community in the 1970s, Meadowvale still shows its original layout: crescents around Lake Aquitaine, walkways cutting between streets, and townhouse blocks set behind the detached homes. Most of those kitchens are on their first or second set of counters, often laminate with a bullnose edge. Replacing them is straightforward work we handle most weeks of the year.
Coverage includes Aquitaine, Glen Erin, Battleford and the older Meadowvale Village streets north of Derry. A common request here is opening a peninsula into an island once a wall or soffit comes down. We template after the cabinets are set, so the new top lands exactly where the reworked layout puts it.

Meadowvale countertop questions, answered
How is the price of quartz countertops worked out in Meadowvale?
There is no flat rate. The quote reflects your colour and brand, the finished square footage, the edge profile, cutouts for sink, cooktop and any faucet holes, and how the slab has to be seamed. A townhouse galley and a detached kitchen with an island are different jobs. Book a free in-home visit, or call us, and we will price yours precisely.
We're removing a wall and turning the peninsula into an island. Can you help?
Yes, though the sequence matters. We template after the cabinets are permanently set rather than before, because a reworked layout tends to shift an inch or two during install. Islands wider than a standard slab may need a seam or a larger format, and we tell you at the consultation which option your dimensions call for.
Can we keep our existing cabinets?
In most Meadowvale homes, yes. Original 1970s and 80s boxes are often solid even when the counters are finished. We check that they are level and sound during templating and reinforce where a heavier top needs support. Changing counters and backsplash alone transforms the room with far less disruption than a full rebuild.
Where can we see the colours in person?
We carry nine brands — HanStone, Caesarstone, Silestone, Viatera and five more — across more than 800 colours, and a consultant brings the relevant ones to your kitchen so you compare them in the light the room actually gets. Say roughly what you are after when you book and he will load the shortlist before setting off.
