Quartz Countertops in Bronte
Down by the harbour, Bronte mixes 1950s cottages that have been added onto for decades with newer condo towers along Lakeshore Road West and Bronte Road. The two present opposite problems: the older houses have odd little kitchen footprints, the condos have elevators and tight corridors. Quick Quartz templates with a laser and fabricates in-house, so both get a top cut to fit rather than trimmed on site.
We work throughout Bronte village, the streets off Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park, and the buildings along Lakeshore West. Condo installs get planned around elevator booking and service entrances.

Bronte countertop questions, answered
How much do quartz countertops cost in Bronte?
The figure depends on the stone you choose, the square footage of your counters, the edge profile, the number of cutouts for sinks and cooktops, and whether the run needs a seam. A compact harbour-area condo kitchen and a rebuilt cottage kitchen price very differently even at similar square footage. What is involved in a condo installation?
We plan around the building before we cut. That means confirming elevator dimensions and booking, checking the service entrance and corridor turns, and sizing pieces so they can physically reach your unit — which sometimes means an extra seam placed where it will not be noticed. Tell us the building at the consultation and we will handle the logistics with property management directly.
Can quartz be used on a lakeside patio or outdoor kitchen?
Not quartz. It is not UV-stable, so sustained sun will change the colour over time. For an outdoor counter or bar near the lake we use Dekton, which are made for exterior exposure and hold up to the weather. Your consultant can bring samples of both so you can see how an outdoor surface pairs with the quartz going in indoors.
Our kitchen is from the fifties and nothing lines up. Is that a problem?
No. Laser templating captures the real shape of the room, including walls that bow and corners that are not square, so the stone is cut to match what is actually there. In older Bronte houses we also check cabinet levels before templating, since a top can only sit as flat as the boxes underneath it. Any prep work gets pointed out at the consultation.
